Pet Food Pantry

Our Pet Food Pantry is a community resource designed to support Vermilion County pet owners during times of need.  Through donated food and supplies, we help families care for their pets and keep them safely at home.

The pantry is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and is accessible through the Animal Control Entrance (left door).

How It Works

It’s simple… just stop by during open hours and complete a brief request form!

We provide (as available):

  • One bag of pet food per pet in the household
  • A free measuring cup
  • Any additional supplies needed (bowls, leashes, collars, and more)

Each bag is intended to help feed approximately:

  • 10 days for a medium-sized dog
  • 16 days for a cat

Our goal is to offer short-term support while helping you keep your pet.

Program Guidelines

To ensure we can continue serving as many families as possible:

  • For repeat visits, pets in the household must be spayed or neutered, or a spay/neuter registration must be submitted with your request form
  • We ask that all visitors treat staff, volunteers, and other community members with respect

    • Dry Puppy Food
    • Clumping Cat Litter
