The Center for Children's Services is committed to caring for children by assisting families in meeting their needs.  Our goal is to help families foster the growth and development of their children, enabling them to achieve their full potential and to develop into mature, responsible adults.

The Center offers a wide range of services, resources, and supports to help bring out the very best in children and families of our community, including individual, group and family counseling, crisis intervention, childcare, parent education programs, youth mentoring, in-home support services, family conflict intervention, youth job skills training, GED classes, child psychiatry, therapeutic afterschool programming, services for pregnant and parenting teens and for delinquent and antisocial youth, and school-based programs.

The Center for Children's Services is primarily funded by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, the Illinois Department of Human Services, the Vermilion County Mental Health 708 Board, the Vermilion County Health Department, the United Way, client fees and income received from investments and private contributions.
