WorkSource has provided developmental training, employment training, and community job placement to persons with disabilities in Vermilion County since 1971.

Consumers earn wages ranging from the current hourly minimum wage to piece rate wages based on commensurate rates. Commensurate rate is the amount earned based on the number of pieces completed and compared to the industrial norm of 100%.

Employment and Vocational Training opportunities are available at WorkSource's main location and at several scattered sites throughout Vermilion County. WorkSource operates laundry and oxygen distribution at the VA Medical Center, janitorial contracts at the Army Reserve and Salt Kettle Rest Area, and other various janitorial and production locations throughout Vermilion County.

The Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities has  accredited the following programs at WorkSource.

    Employment Services Coordination
    Employment Transition
    Comprehensive Vocational Evaluation
    Employee Development
    Organizational Employment
    Job Support and Job Site Training
    Community Job Placement
