If you are not a registered voter, complete this application and deliver to the Danville Board of Election Commissioners no later than 28 days before the next election. 

You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to be able to view the Voter Registration Application form.

If you are a registered voter in the City of Danville and have recently moved to another address (in the City of Danville) - please complete the adobe acrobat Transfer Form and mail to: Board of Election Commissioners, 6 North Vermilion Street, Danville, IL 61832.

If you registered to vote, but are unable to vote at your polling place on election day for one of following reasons, you may be eligible to vote absentee.

If you are eligible to vote absentee - please complete the adobe acrobat Absentee Form and mail to: Board of Election Commissioners, 6 North Vermilion Street, Danville, IL 61832. 

* Please complete the yellow highlighted areas, and mark the appropriate box (that explains why you are unable to vote at your polling place).

Reasons for Voting Absentee

1.  You expect to be absent from your City/County of Residence (including students temporarily abiding outside the precinct in which he or she is registered to vote due to the fact that he or she is a student attending an Institution of higher learning).
2.  You are physically unable to go to the polling place.
3.  You are observing a religious holiday.
4.  You are performing certain election duties.
5.  You are serving as a sequestered juror on a state or federal jury.
6.  You are a pre-trial detainee.
