WHAT IS EARLY VOTING? Early voting was new in 2006.
The process allows all registered voters to cast a ballot prior to Election Day by voting
at the offices of the County Clerk or the Danville Election
Commission. Early Voters must be registered
voters prepared to present a valid picture ID showing their
current voter registration address. Once an Early Vote is
cast, it cannot be rescinded. No reason is necessary for
voting early. Ballots cast early are tabulated at the
Courthouse Annex on Election Day, after the polls close, by teams of Election Judges.

Regular
in-person absentee voting is available through November 3rd as well
as on Saturday, November 1st.
